New Business Set Up Instructions:

• Federal EIN Number from the IRS

• Illinois Department of Revenue Registration

• Illinois Employer Tax Information

• Illinois Unemployment Registration:

  • Once you register with IL Department of Revenue, logon to your MyTax Account.​

  • Select "I Want To" under the "Register a New Tax Accounts" Hyperlink.

  • Follow the steps to create your Unemployment Insurance Account

  • Submit a competed and signed UI-1 form, "Report to Determine Liability Under the Illinois Unemployment Insurance Act".

• New Hire Reporting:

  • All employers are required to report new employees to their state's New Hire Directory within 20 days of the employee's first day on the payroll. Mail or fax form or apply online.

• Workers Comp: Find a company to provide coverage or we can do a quote through the payroll subscription​
